How to download your Banking Statements

Before You Get Started

Your banking statements are available by currency account.

Keep offers Multi-Currency Accounts in the following currencies:

  • CAD – Canadian Dollar
  • USD – United States Dollar
  • EUR – Euro
  • GBP – British Pound Sterling
  • MXN – Mexican Peso

For example, if you operate both CAD and USD accounts in Keep, each will have its own set of downloadable statements.

Make sure you’re logged in as an Account Admin or Accountant, as only these roles have permission to download statements.

How to Download a Statement

To download a statement from your Keep account:

  1. Go to the Banking tab from your dashboard.
  2. Select the Currency Account (CAD, USD, etc.) you want the statement for.
  3. Click on the Statements tab.
  4. Find the month you're looking for and click Download.

The statement will be saved to your device as a PDF.

Alternative Methods: Exporting Transactions

If you need a more flexible format for analyzing transactions, you can export your transaction history instead of downloading a statement. 

How to Export Transactions

  1. Navigate to the Banking tab.
  2. Select the Currency Account you need transactions for.
  3. Click the Download icon at the top right.
  4. Choose from the available export options:
    • Export as CSV – A standard file format compatible with Excel, Google Sheets, and most accounting software.
    • Export as QuickBooks CSV – A formatted file optimized for QuickBooks Online integration.

The exported file will contain all transaction details, including dates, descriptions, statuses, and amounts.

Frequently Asked Questions:

  1. Why are my statements split by currency account?

Each currency account (CAD, USD, etc.) is treated as a separate account for reporting purposes. Statements are generated individually based on the selected currency.

  1. Can I download multiple months at once?

Not at this time. You'll need to download each month individually from the Statements tab.
