Before you get started
You can request a refund of your secured deposit if:

Your Keep secured card balance is fully paid (no outstanding balance).

Your account is in good standing.

You are requesting a full refund — partial refunds are not supported.
You can choose whether to keep your Keep secured card open after the refund or request to close your card.
How to request your secured card deposit back
To request your secured deposit refund:

Let us know you would like to request a full refund of your secured deposit.
Our team will confirm your request and process the refund.
What happens after your request
Once your request is confirmed:

Your full secured deposit will be returned to your Keep Banking CAD account.

Refunds are typically delivered within 8 business days from confirmation.

Your card will remain open unless you specifically request to close it.
You will receive email updates when your request is processed.
Troubleshooting and common issues
I still have a balance on my card
You must pay off your full card balance before requesting your deposit back. Once your balance is $0, you can contact us.
I accidentally requested a partial refund
Partial refunds are not supported. You can only request a full refund of your secured deposit.
I didn’t receive my refund after 8 business days
If it’s been more than 8 business days since your request was confirmed, please contact support@trykeep.com and we’ll look into it.
