How to Make an Early Payment

  1. Log in to your Keep dashboard.
  2. Go to the "Capital" section
  3.  Choose “Pay in full” for your capital plan you want to pay off.

4.  Review payment details:
  • The amount applied to the outstanding principal.
  • Any pro-rated fees.
  • The fee amount you're saving by making an early payment.

5.  Choose your payment account: Select the bank account you’d like to use for the payment
    1. The payment will be applied instantly if you choose to pay from the Keep banking account. For all other external accounts, it may take 2-3 business days.
    6. Confirm payment: After confirming, you'll see a success message on the screen and receive an email confirming the payment.

What Happens After the Payment: Payment Processing Status

Payment In Process: While your payment is being processed, all future installments will be marked as "In Progress," and the "Pay in full" button will be disabled to prevent double payments.

Payment Failure: If your payment fails, a "Failed Payment" message will appear, and you'll be able to retry the payment from the statement extensions page.

Payment Success: Once your payment is successful:

  • All remaining unpaid installments will be marked as Paid.
  • When fully paid, the statement extension will move to the Closed tab, and all installments will be marked as Paid.

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Can I make a partial early payment?
No, Keep only allows full payments for capital plans at this time.
  2. How long does it take for my payment to process?
The payment will be processed instantly if you choose to pay from the Keep banking account. For all other external accounts, it may take 2-3 business days.
  3. What happens if my payment fails?
If your payment fails, a “Failed Payment” banner will appear on your dashboard, allowing you to retry the payment without any additional fee from us. However, if the due date passes while the payment is being processed and it fails, a late fee might apply. To avoid this, please ensure your account has sufficient funds when making an early payment.
  4. What should I do if I accidentally make a payment for the wrong balance?
If you mistakenly make a payment for your card balance instead of your capital repayment plan, please contact Keep support immediately for assistance.
