How to Pay Installments for Your Capital Plan

If you've received Capital funding from Keep, you can easily manage your installment payments directly from your dashboard.

This guide will show you how to handle various payment scenarios, including overdue payments, upcoming installments, and settling your full balance.

Before You Get Started

Capital is a flexible financing option offered by Keep, providing growth funds for your business, which you repay through scheduled installments.

Please check you have an active Capital plan before making a payment.

Important notes:

  • Only Admin users can make Capital payments.
  • Your account must have sufficient funds in your chosen payment method.
  • If your plan is overdue, late fees may apply. These will appear under “Other Fees” in your Payment Schedule.

General Payment Steps

Follow these steps for any of the payment options listed below:

  1. Log in and go to the Capital page.
  2. Click Pay now on your active plan.
  3. Under Make a payment, select the option that applies.
    • Overdue Amount
    • Overdue and Next Installment
    • Next Installment
    • Full Outstanding Balance
  4. Choose your payment method (linked bank account or Keep bank account) and click Confirm.
    • Payments from your Keep bank account apply immediately.
    • Payments from a linked bank account may take 2–3 business days.
  5. Review the confirmation screen and click Okay.
  6. Check your email:
    • Linked bank payments send a payment submitted email first.
    • A second confirmation email is sent once the funds are debited and applied.

How to Pay an Overdue Amount

If you’ve missed a payment, this option lets you pay just the overdue portion.

  1. Under Make a payment, select Overdue Amount.
  2. Review any late fees included in the total before confirming.

After payment:

  • The overdue amount is marked as paid.
  • Late fees are automatically included.
  • Your payment schedule is updated.

How to Pay Overdue and Next Installment

If you’re behind and want to stay ahead, this option allows you to pay both the overdue and the next upcoming installment at once.

  1. Under Make a payment, select Overdue and Next installment.
  2. Make sure your account has enough to cover both payments (plus fees).

After payment:

  • Both installments are marked as paid.
  • Your next payment date is pushed forward.

How to Pay Your Next Installment

This option lets you pay an upcoming installment early—no need to wait for the due date.

  1. Under Make a payment, select Next installment.

After payment:

  • The next installment is marked as paid.
  • Your payment schedule updates accordingly.

How to Pay the Full Outstanding Balance

If you’d like to close your plan early and avoid future installments, this option pays off the entire balance in one go.

  1. Under Make a payment, select Full outstanding.
  2. Review the full amount, which includes principal and any pro-rated fees.

After payment:

  • Your full plan is marked as complete.
  • Future installments are cleared.
  • The plan moves to the Closed tab.
  • You’ll get a confirmation email.
  • You may become eligible for new Capital offers.

  1. Are there any fees for making early payments? No, there are no penalties or additional fees for paying your installments early or paying off your full balance ahead of schedule.
  2. What happens if I miss a payment? If you miss a payment, late fees may apply. These fees will be added to your overdue amount. We recommend addressing overdue payments promptly to avoid accumulating additional charges.
  3. Will paying early affect my eligibility for future Capital offers? Maintaining a good payment history by making timely payments may positively impact your eligibility for future Capital offers. Paying early helps ensure you never miss a payment.
  4. What should I do if I accidentally make a payment for the wrong amount? If you believe you've made a payment error, please contact Keep support immediately for assistance.
