How to Book with Keep Travel

Keep Travel lets you book flights directly from your Keep dashboard using your Keep Rewards points, your Keep Card, or a combination of both. You can search, filter, and pay for your trip in one place — this guide will show you how.

Before you get started

  • Keep Travel is available only for Admin, Owner, and Accountants.
  • You can now pay with points, with your Keep Card, or with a blended payment (points + card).
  • All flight prices include taxes and mandatory fees.
  • International flights may require passport information during checkout.

How to book a trip

  1. Log in to your Keep dashboard.
  2. Go to Rewards → Redeem → Book travel, or click Travel from the left menu.
  3. Choose One-way or Roundtrip, number of travellers, and cabin class.
  4. Enter your departure and destination airports, travel dates, and click Search.
  5. Filter by price, duration, stops, or airline, then select your preferred flights.
  6. Review fare details (baggage, seat selection, change policies, and other inclusions).
  7. Enter traveller information (name, DOB, contact details, and passport information for international flights).
  8. Add any extras you want, such as checked bags or cancellation protection.
  9. Choose how you want to pay:
    • Pay with Keep Card
    • Redeem Keep Points
    • Blend points + card payment, adjusting the points field to use the amount you prefer
  10. Review your final total and click Pay to complete your booking.

If you don’t have enough points for your selected amount, a notification will appear before confirming.

How to choose your payment method

When you reach the Payment screen, you can choose between paying with your Keep Card, using points, or combining both. Here’s how each option works:

Pay with your Keep Card

  1. Select your preferred card and review the amount that will be charged.
  2. Make sure the card has enough available credit for the booking.
  3. Continue to payment — you’ll earn 5× rewards on the full booking amount.

Pay fully with points

  1. Turn on Redeem Keep Points to activate the points field.
  2. Check how many points are required under Total → “or X points.”
  3. Enter that number into the points box to pay entirely with points.
  4. If you don’t have enough, you’ll see a notification before paying.

Pay with points + card (blended payment)

  1. Turn on Redeem Keep Points, then enter the number of points you want to use.
  2. Your card charge updates automatically based on the amount of points entered.
  3. The Pay button will display both amounts (for example: CA$1,350.00 + 10,000 points).
  4. You’ll earn 5× rewards on the card portion only.

Confirmation of booking

Once your booking is complete, you’ll see a confirmation screen and receive two emails:

  • A Keep Travel confirmation email — Includes your booking reference, flight details, and a link to manage your trip.
  • An e-ticket email from the airline — Includes your ticket numbers, airline record locator, and airline-specific instructions.

You can also review your booking at any time under Travel → Upcoming trips, where you’ll see flight details, booking numbers, and available actions like seat selection or cancellation.

Troubleshooting and common issues

Not enough points

Use a blended payment to cover the remaining balance with your Keep Card.

No results for your dates or route

Try adjusting filters or searching nearby airports. Availability depends on the airline.

Didn’t receive your confirmation email

Check your spam folder or verify that your Keep account email is correct.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Can I book hotels?

Not yet — hotel booking is coming in a future release.

2. Do I earn points on my booking?

Yes. You earn rewards on the card-payment portion of your booking. 5x

If you pay entirely with points, the booking won’t earn additional points.

3. Can I change or cancel my booking?

It depends on the fare rules of your ticket. These are shown during checkout and in your booking details.

4. Who sends my e-ticket?

Your e-ticket is sent directly by the airline and includes your airline booking reference.

5. How are points refunded if I cancel a trip?

If your fare allows refunds, points are returned to your Keep account at the same value you redeemed them, usually instantly.

6. What happens if the airline changes or cancels my flight?

You’ll receive an email notification. Most changes can be managed directly from your trip details, or you can contact Keep Support for help.

7. How do I change my itinerary after booking?

Depending on the airline and fare rules, changes may be made:

  • Directly through your airline using the booking reference, or
  • Through Keep Support if the airline requires modifications to be handled by the issuing agency.

Fees may apply based on the fare type.

8. Do I get travel insurance through my Keep Card?

No. Keep does not offer travel insurance at this time.
