How to book travel with Keep using rewards points

Keep Travel lets you use your Keep Rewards points to book flights directly from your Keep dashboard. You can search, filter, and pay for your trip entirely with points, and this guide will show you exactly how.

Before you get started

  • Available for Keep Business Card and Keep Secured Card customers.
  • In the current release, bookings can only be paid with points. Blended points + card payments will be available in future updates.

How to book a trip with points

Follow these steps to book travel directly from your Keep dashboard using your rewards points:

  1. Log in to your Keep dashboard.
  2. Navigate to Rewards, select Redeem, and choose Book travel
    Or you can also click Travel from the left menu.
  3. Choose One-way or Roundtrip, select the number of travelers, and pick your cabin class.
  4. Enter your departure and destination airports, choose your travel dates, and click Search.
  5. Filter your results by price, duration, stops, or airline, then select your flights.
  6. Review fare details to compare what’s included, such as baggage allowance, change fees, and seat selection.
  7. Enter traveler details, including full name, date of birth, and contact information. For international trips, add passport details.
  8. Add extras (optional) such as checked bags, seat selection, or cancellation protection.
  9. Select Pay with points and review your total. If you don’t have enough points, you’ll see a notification before confirming.
  10. Click Pay to finalize your booking.

Confirmation of booking

Once booked, you’ll get a confirmation screen and an email with your itinerary.

  • A Keep Travel confirmation email with your booking reference, flight details, and a link to manage your trip.
  • A separate e-ticket email from the airline with ticket numbers and airline-specific information.

You can also find and manage your trip anytime under Travel → Upcoming trips in your dashboard, where you’ll see flight details, booking numbers, and options like seat selection or cancellation.

How to earn rewards points

When you pay with your Keep Card, you’ll earn points on every purchase — including travel:

  • 1.5× on all purchases
  • on restaurants, international transactions, and promos
  • on travel booked through the Keep Portal (coming soon)

Points are added to your account after your statement closes and payment is posted. Bookings paid fully with points do not earn additional points.

Tip: For the best value, redeem your points for travel — each point is worth 1.5¢ when booked through Keep Travel.

Troubleshooting and common issues

  • Not enough points – You’ll need the full points balance until blended payments are available.
  • No results for your dates or route – Try adjusting your filters or searching nearby airports. Availability depends on airline schedules.
  • Didn’t receive confirmation email – Check your spam folder, and ensure the email on file in your Keep account is correct or contact us at support@trykeep.com

1. Can I book hotels?

Not yet, hotel booking will be added in a future release.

2. When will card payments be available for travel bookings?

Card payments (with up to 5× rewards) are coming soon. You’ll also be able to combine points and card payment for flexibility.

3. Do I earn points on bookings?

Yes, when paying with your Keep Card. Bookings paid entirely with points do not earn additional points.

4. Can I change or cancel my booking?

It depends on the fare you selected. Fare rules are shown before booking and can be reviewed in your trip details afterwards.

5. Are the prices shown final?

Yes, all prices include mandatory taxes and fees in line with Canadian travel regulations.

6. What happens if my flight is changed or cancelled by the airline?

You’ll be notified by email and can manage changes in your trip details, or contact Keep Support for assistance.

7. How do I change my itinerary after booking?

It’s unclear whether they must contact Keep support, Duffel, or the airline directly — and if fees apply.

8. What’s the refund policy when booking with points?

Travelers might want to know if points are refunded instantly, and at what value.

9. Who sends my e-ticket?

Your guide mentions an email confirmation, but doesn’t clarify that the confirmation comes from Keep with Duffel’s details and includes the airline’s booking reference.
