How to cancel your subscription

You can cancel your secured or unsecured card subscription anytime from your dashboard. This article explains how to cancel and what to expect depending on whether you're still in your trial or already in your subscription period.

How to cancel your subscription

You can cancel your subscription in just a few steps:

  1. Go to your Settings
  2. Select the Subscription tab
  3. Click Cancel subscription
  4. Confirm your cancellation

You’ll see a confirmation message in your dashboard with your subscription end date. Your access continues until that date.

If you cancel during your trial

You won’t be charged and you’ll keep full access until the trial ends. Your subscription will automatically end after the trial unless you decide to renew.

You’ll see a banner that confirms the cancellation and shows when your access ends.

You can renew your subscription anytime during your trial by clicking Renew.

If you cancel during your active subscription

Your subscription will stay active until the end of your 12-month term. You’ll continue to be billed every 4 weeks. Canceling simply stops your plan from auto-renewing, nothing else changes.

You’ll see the exact end date in your dashboard, along with an option to Renew if you change your mind.

There are no refunds or partial cancellations once the trial has ended.

If you're using a secured card

Once your subscription ends and all dues are cleared, your secured deposit will be released to your Keep Wallet. You can request a withdrawal by contacting support@trykeep.com

How to renew your subscription

If you decide to continue your subscription after canceling:

  1. Go to your Settings
  2. Open the Subscription tab
  3. Click Renew
  4. Confirm your renewal

Your subscription will resume immediately and follow your regular 4-week billing cycle.

Frequently asked questions

Can I cancel during trial and restart later?

Yes. You can cancel and re-subscribe later, but you may need to go through a re-approval process depending on your business status at the time.

Will I lose access right away if I cancel?

No. You’ll keep full access until the end of your trial or current billing term. Canceling just stops auto-renewal, it doesn’t impact your current access.

What happens to my payments after I cancel?

If you cancel during the trial, you won’t be charged. If you’re already paying, you’ll continue the 4-week billing cycle through the 12-month term, cancellation just prevents renewal.

Does cancellation close my account?

No. Cancellation only affects your subscription. Your Keep account will remain open, and any product dues (e.g. card balance, capital) will still need to be paid.

How do I get my deposit back if I’m on a secured card subscription?

Once all dues are cleared, your deposit will be released to your Keep Wallet. From there, you can request a withdrawal by contacting support@trykeep.com. Read more here.
