How Keep Rewards Work
To redeem your rewards, you need to have a Keep Banking account activated. You can learn more in this article How to Manage Banking and Open a Multi-Currency Account.
Rewards are redeemed at a dollar-for-dollar value when applied to other Keep services, such as paying off your card balance or applying them toward statement extensions and capital.
It takes 120 days for your rewards to become available for redemption.
You can earn points on both domestic and international purchases:
- Domestic Purchases: 1 CAD spent = 1 point earned
- International Purchases: 1 USD spent = 4 points earned
Please note: Currently, rewards can be redeemed for cashback at a rate of $0.37 per 100 points.
For example, if you have 10,500 points, you would divide by 100 and multiply by 0.37, resulting in $38.85 CAD in real dollar value.
How to Redeem Your Rewards
Keep offers three different ways to redeem your rewards:
- Redeem them for Cash
- Apply Rewards to Pay Off Card Balance
- Use Rewards to Pay for Capital & Statement Extensions.
Follow the steps below to learn how to redeem for each option.
Redeem them for Cash
- Log in to your Keep dashboard: Visit app.trykeep.com to log in to your Keep dashboard.
- Navigate to Rewards: On the left-side menu, click on Rewards.
- View Your Rewards: You’ll see a list of your most recent rewards.
- Redeem Your Points: Click on Redeem Rewards in the top right corner.
- Select the Cash Option: Enter the amount you wish to redeem.
- Finalize Your Redemption: After selecting the amount, click Redeem.

Apply Rewards to Pay Off Card Balance

Go to Rewards and select Redeem: Navigate to the Rewards section in your Keep dashboard and redeem your rewards for cash.

Go to the Payments section: On the left-side menu, click on Payments.

Select Keep CAD Account as your debit account: Choose your Keep CAD Account as the debit account to pay off your card balance using the redeemed rewards.
Use Rewards to Pay for Capital & Statement Extensions.

Contact your Account Manager: Reach out to your dedicated Account Manager for assistance in applying your rewards towards Capital or Statement Extension services.
