1. Understanding Keep – Financial Basics

Keep provides modern financial tools to manage your business efficiently:

  • Card Functionality

    Charge cards with a 30-day billing cycle. Your balance is due in full 30 days after your statement period begins.

  • Available Rewards

    Monitor cashback rewards ready to apply to your statement under the Rewards tab.

  • Available Spend

    Track how much remains in your spending limit for the cycle. Free up spending capacity by making manual payments.

  • Next Payment Date

    See when your current statement will be auto-deducted from your linked business account.

  • Account Statements

    Access current and past statements in the Transactions tab.

  • Outstanding and Available Balances

2. Using  “Keep” – Starting with Your Cards

Manage all your cards in one place:

Types of Cards

  • Virtual Cards: Instantly create cards for subscriptions, vendor payments, or one-time expenses.
  • Physical Cards: Ideal for frequent travelers or employees. Cards arrive within 7–10 business days.

Creating Cards

  1. Go to the Cards section in your Keep dashboard.
  2. Click Create Card.
  3. Choose the card type (virtual or physical).
  4. Set up the card name, spending limit, and frequency.

Using Your Keep Corporate Card

  • For Online Payments:
    • Reveal your card details (number, CVV, expiration) by clicking ‘Show Details’ under your card banner.
    • Use the provided Billing Address to avoid mismatched address declines.
  • For In-Store Purchases:
    • Add your card to Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, or Google Pay.
    • Tap-to-pay transactions are limited to $200 per transaction.

3. Team Set Up & Managing Users

How to Add Users

  1. Go to Settings → Team → Add User.
  2. Assign roles and set up cards during onboarding.

Roles Overview

  • Admin: Full permissions for account and spend management.
  • Accountant: View-only access to all transactions; no banking permissions.
  • Employee: Access personal cards and transactions only.

4. Paying Your Keep Card Balance

Paying your balance is simple and flexible:

Payment Options

  • Automatic Payments: Balances are auto-deducted from your linked business account at the end of each cycle.
  • Manual Payments: Make upfront payments anytime via the Payments section.

5. Statement Extensions

A Statement Extension (also known as “Carrying a Balance”) lets eligible Keep users extend their statement balance repayment for up to 6 months. This gives your business more flexibility in managing expenses and cash flow.

  1. Go to the Statement Extensions section in your Keep dashboard.
  2. Toggle Auto-Statement Extension to enable.
  3. Use the calculator to estimate fees based on your selected term length.
  4. Turn extensions off anytime via the Modify option.

6. Rewards

Earn and apply cashback rewards on every transaction across all spending categories, with no caps, earn up to 4%: 

How to Use Rewards

  1. Tracking Rewards: View your available rewards balance under the Rewards tab.
  2. Redeem Them for Cash: Convert your rewards balance into cash.
  3. Apply Rewards to Pay Off Card Balance: Use rewards directly to reduce your outstanding balance.
  4. Use Rewards to Pay for Capital & Statement Extensions: Offset costs for Keep Capital or Statement Extensions using your rewards.
